When we were in Akureyri we went to Hraunsvatn in Hraunsdrangar. It is a lake in the middle of mountains with lava everywhere, amazing place, really. We were walking because it's impossible to go by car. There was a moment that we thought that we would never find it.

We dared to cross the river of the lake in a place that didn't seem deep... I felt the coldest water in my life. We couldn't speak while we crossed the river, the pain was very strong even after. Maybe we were a little crazy, you can see the snow around the lake.
It was a very special trip with very beautiful landscapes and amazing moments. Great!.

Another day we went to a coffe-bar in a farm, you can see the cows while you drink coffe, wine, beer, milk... yes, milk directly from the cow, ooook in a glass but almost directly. We were with Berglind's family. Her nephews are wonderful.
We forgot the camera and we haven't got pictures, maybe somebody has, please send me the best ones.

One more thing, in Iceland they are very worried about the nature, and they have their reasons. Please visit this web http://www.savingiceland.org , it's very important to save one of the last virgin paradises in the world.
